   Inserted: (a) Study.--The General Accounting Office (in this section referred to as the "GAO") shall conduct a study of the cleanup progress at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Kentucky.

   Inserted: (b) Report to Congress.--Not later than six months after the date of enactment of this Act, the GAO shall submit a report to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the House of Representative Energy and Commerce Committee on the results of the study conducted under subsection (a).
