    Inserted: SEC. . USE OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FUNDS FOR ABORTIONS IN CASES OF RAPE AND INCEST.

    Inserted: Section 1093(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: "or in cases in which the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest."

Mrs. BOXER (for herself and Ms. Snowe) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 1042, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2006 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe personnel strengths for such fiscal year for the Armed Forces, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
