Mr. SESSIONS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 1585, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2008 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the appropriate place in title III, insert the following:
SEC. __. DEFINITION OF MATERIAL SUPPLY FUNCTION.
(a) In General.--Section 2460 of title 10, United States Code is amended--
(1) by amending the section heading to read as follows:
“Sec. 2460. Definitions”;
(2) in subsection (a)--
(A) by striking “In General.--In this chapter” and inserting “Depot-Level Maintenance and Repair.--(1) In this chapter”;
(B) by striking “(except as provided in subsection (b))” and inserting “(except as provided in paragraph (2))”; and
(C) by striking “includes (1)” and all that follows through “(2) interim contractor support” and inserting the following: “includes--
