Mr. McCAIN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 2996, making appropriations for the Department of the Interior, environment, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
On page 240, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following:
Sec. 4___. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used for rat eradication at the Palmyra Atoll National Wildlife Refuge in Hawaii.
