Inserted: Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the savings resulting from this subtitle that are spent on healthcare under subtitle B shall instead be used to provide additional funding for the Federal Pell Grant program under section 401 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1070a), in order to address budgetary shortfalls for such program for fiscal years 2010 through 2019.

SA 3694. Mr. GRAHAM submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 4872, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to Title II of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2010 (S. Con. Res. 13); as follows:
On page 144, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following:
