Inserted: "(i) Lean Finely Textured Beef.--The Secretary shall give States and school food authorities the option to purchase and receive meat and meat food products that do not contain low-temperature rendered product, also known as lean finely textured beef (as defined by the Secretary), for use in school meal programs under this Act and the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1771 et seq.).".

On page 361, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following:
SEC. 4208. LEAN FINELY TEXTURED BEEF.
Section 14 of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1762a) is amended by adding at the end the following:
