Ms. LANDRIEU submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill H.R. 933, making appropriations for the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other departments and agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
On page 84, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following:
Sec. 74__. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to pay the salaries and expenses of personnel--
(1) to inspect horses under section 3 of the Federal Meat Inspection Act (21 U.S.C. 603);
