Ms. AYOTTE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 1243, making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2014, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
On page 24, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following:
Sec. 119F. Section 41731 of title 49, United States Code, is amended--
(1) in subsection (a)(1)--
(A) by redesignating subparagraphs (C) and (D) as subparagraphs (D) and (E), respectively; and
(B) by inserting after subparagraph (B) the following:
“(C) is located not less than 90 driving miles from the nearest--
“(i) medium hub airport or large hub airport; or
“(ii) small hub airport that was classified as a medium hub airport or large hub airport during the most recent 5-year period;”;
