Mr. MENENDEZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1197, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2014 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
On page 394, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following:
(d) Expansion of Limitation on Reimbursement of Pakistan Pending Certification on Pakistan.--Subsection (d) of section 1227 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 is further amended in paragraph (1)(B)(i), by inserting “, Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed,” after “the Haqqani Network”.
