    Inserted: (a) Report Required.--

    Inserted: (1) In general.--Not later than 270 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the activities being undertaken by the People's Republic of China to sustain the economy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

    Inserted: (2) Elements.--The report shall include the following:

    Inserted: (A) A description of the activities of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and Politburo members of the People's Republic of China in government and non-government bilateral trade, banking, investment, economic development, and infrastructure projects between the People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the national, provincial, and local level.

    Inserted: (B) A description of the financial resources, transactions, and structures of the entities and individuals of the People's Republic of China engaged in the activities described under subparagraph (A).

    Inserted: (C) An assessment of the impact of the activities described under subparagraph (A) on the weapons of mass destruction program and the ballistic missile program of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

    Inserted: (b) Form.--The report required by subsection (a) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.

    Inserted: (c) Appropriate Committees of Congress Defined.--In this section, the term "appropriate committees of Congress" means--

    Inserted: (1) the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Finance, and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; and

    Inserted: (2) the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives.

SA 2426. Mr. DONNELLY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1197, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2014 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

At the end of subtitle C of title XII, add the following:

SEC. 1237. REPORT ON ACTIVITIES BEING UNDERTAKEN BY THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO SUSTAIN THE ECONOMY OF THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA.

(a) Report Required.--
