Inserted: Section 1211 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (Public Law 109-163; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note) is amended--
Inserted: (1) in subsection (b), by inserting "or in the 600 series of the Commerce Control List of the Export Administration Regulations" after "International Trafficking in Arms Regulations"; and
Inserted: (2) in subsection (e)(2)--
Inserted: (A) by inserting "or in the 600 series of the Commerce Control List of the Export Administration Regulations" after "International Trafficking in Arms Regulations"; and
Inserted: (B) by adding before the period at the end the following: "and the 600 series of the Commerce Control List contained in Supplement No. 1 to part 774 of subtitle B of title 15 of the Code of Federal Regulations".

Mrs. SHAHEEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 1197, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2014 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the end of subtitle C of title XII, add the following:
SEC. 1237. MODIFICATION OF PROHIBITION ON PROCUREMENTS FROM CHINESE COMPANIES.
Section 1211 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (Public Law 109-163; 10 U.S.C. 2302 note) is amended--
(1) in subsection (b), by inserting “or in the 600 series of the Commerce Control List of the Export Administration Regulations” after “International Trafficking in Arms Regulations”; and
(2) in subsection (e)(2)--
(A) by inserting “or in the 600 series of the Commerce Control List of the Export Administration Regulations” after “International Trafficking in Arms Regulations”; and
