Inserted: (1) In general.--Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a strategy to carry out the activities set forth in subsection (a).

Inserted: (A) A preliminary assessment of deficiencies in the defensive military capabilities of Ukraine and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including air defense systems and anti-armor capabilities.

SA 2860. Mr. CORNYN (for himself, Mr. Wicker, and Ms. Ayotte) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2124, to support sovereignty and democracy in Ukraine, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
