(j) Coordination With Other Amendments Made by This Act.--For purposes of applying amendments made by provisions of this Act other than this section, the amendments made by subsections (b) through (h) of this section shall be treated as having been enacted immediately before any such amendments by other provisions of this Act.

Inserted: Section 1710(e)(3)(A) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking "period of five years" and inserting "period of 10 years".

Mr. WALSH (for himself and Mr. Tester) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2410, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2015 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

SEC. 1087. EXTENSION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR HOSPITAL CARE, MEDICAL SERVICES, AND NURSING HOME AND DOMICILIARY CARE FOR CERTAIN VETERANS WHO SERVED IN A THEATER OF COMBAT OPERATIONS.
Section 1710(e)(3)(A) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking “period of five years” and inserting “period of 10 years”.
