(j) Coordination With Other Amendments Made by This Act.--For purposes of applying amendments made by provisions of this Act other than this section, the amendments made by subsections (b) through (h) of this section shall be treated as having been enacted immediately before any such amendments by other provisions of this Act.
Inserted: SEC. 1087. RELEASE OF REPORT ON ENERGY AND COST SAVINGS IN NONBUILDING APPLICATIONS.
Inserted: Not later than 15 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Energy and the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate the report on the results of the study of energy and cost savings in nonbuilding applications required under section 518(b) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (Public Law 110-140; 121 Stat. 1660).

Mr. MENENDEZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2410, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2015 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the end of subtitle H of title X, add the following:
SEC. 1087. RELEASE OF REPORT ON ENERGY AND COST SAVINGS IN NONBUILDING APPLICATIONS.
Not later than 15 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Energy and the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate the report on the results of the study of energy and cost savings in nonbuilding applications required under section 518(b) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (Public Law 110-140; 121 Stat. 1660).
