Inserted: SEC. 1047. PROHIBITION ON TERMINATION OF C-130 ACTIVE ASSOCIATE UNITS OF THE RESERVE COMPONENTS OF THE AIR FORCE.
Inserted: (a) Prohibition.--The Secretary of the Air Force may not--
Inserted: (1) terminate any C-130 active associate unit of a reserve component of the Air Force in existence as of October 1, 2013;
Inserted: (2) reduce the authorized number, or number, of airmen assigned to C-130 active associate units of the reserve components of the Air Force to fewer than the number authorized for assignment, or assigned, to such units as of October 1, 2013; or
Inserted: (3) reduce the number of aircraft assigned to C-130 active associate units of the reserve components of the Air Force from the number so assigned as of October 1, 2014.
Inserted: (b) Offset.--The amount authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2015 by title XV for operation and maintenance is hereby reduced by $13,850,000.

Mr. ENZI submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2410, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2015 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the end of subtitle E of title X, add the following:
SEC. 1047. PROHIBITION ON TERMINATION OF C-130 ACTIVE ASSOCIATE UNITS OF THE RESERVE COMPONENTS OF THE AIR FORCE.
(a) Prohibition.--The Secretary of the Air Force may not--
(1) terminate any C-130 active associate unit of a reserve component of the Air Force in existence as of October 1, 2013;
(2) reduce the authorized number, or number, of airmen assigned to C-130 active associate units of the reserve components of the Air Force to fewer than the number authorized for assignment, or assigned, to such units as of October 1, 2013; or
(3) reduce the number of aircraft assigned to C-130 active associate units of the reserve components of the Air Force from the number so assigned as of October 1, 2014.
