Inserted: SEC. 210. REPAYMENT OF ORIGINAL CARES ACT LOAN REQUIRED.
Inserted: Section 6001 of the CARES Act (39 U.S.C. 101 note; Public Law 116-136) is amended--
Inserted: (1) in the section heading, by striking "funding" and inserting "borrowing authority"; and
Inserted: (2) by striking subsection (c) and inserting the following:
Inserted: "(c) Loan Repayment.--
Inserted: "(1) In general.--Notwithstanding the amendments to this section made by section 801 of division N of the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021 (Public Law 116-260; 134 Stat. 2119), the Postal Service shall repay any amounts received from the Secretary of the Treasury under subsection (b).
Inserted: "(2) Terms and conditions.--The agreement in principle between the Secretary of the Treasury and the Postal Service that was approved by the Board of Governors of the Postal Service on July 28, 2020, and any subsequent agreement entered into between the Secretary of the Treasury and the Postal Service to implement the agreement in principle, shall apply to the repayment of amounts under paragraph (1).".

SA 4968. Mr. SCOTT of Florida submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 3076, to provide stability to and enhance the services of the United States Postal Service, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the end of title II, add the following:
SEC. 210. REPAYMENT OF ORIGINAL CARES ACT LOAN REQUIRED.
Section 6001 of the CARES Act (39 U.S.C. 101 note; Public Law 116-136) is amended--
(1) in the section heading, by striking “funding” and inserting “borrowing authority”; and
(2) by striking subsection (c) and inserting the following:
“(c) Loan Repayment.--
