SA 1113. Ms. HIRONO (for herself and Mr. Moran) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 1092 submitted by Mrs. Murray (for herself and Ms. Collins) and intended to be proposed to the bill H.R. 4366, making appropriations for military construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in division B, insert the following: Sec. __. For an additional amount for ``Agricultural Programs--National Institute of Food and Agriculture-- Research and Education Activities'', for competitive grants to assist in the facility construction, alteration, acquisition, modernization, renovation, or remodeling of agricultural research facilities, as authorized by the Research Facilities Act (7 U.S.C. 390 et seq.), there is hereby appropriated, and the amount otherwise provided by this Act for ``Agricultural Programs--Processing, Research, and Marketing--Office of the Secretary'' is hereby reduced by, $2,000,000. ______
