SA 1315. Mr. LEE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to

amendment SA 1292 proposed by Mr. Schumer (for Mrs. Murray) to the bill
H.R. 3935, to amend title 49, United States Code, to reauthorize and
improve the Federal Aviation Administration and other civil aviation
programs, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the
table; as follows:

At the appropriate place, insert the following:

SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON FUNDING FOR UKRAINE.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act--
(1) sections 126 and 142 shall have no force or effect; and
(2) no amounts may be provided for Ukraine from amounts
appropriated or otherwise made available for--
(A) the Food for Peace Title II Grants or the McGovern-Dole
International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program
Grants as described in paragraph (1) of section 101;
(B) the Energy Programs--Nuclear Energy as described in
paragraph (4) of such section; or
(C) the Department of State as described in paragraph (11)
of such section.
