SA 1842. Mr. SCHUMER proposed an amendment to the bill H.R. 815, to amend title 38, United States Code, to make certain improvements relating to the eligibility of veterans to receive reimbursement for emergency treatment furnished through the Veterans Community Care program, and for other purposes; as follows: At the end add the following: SEC. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act shall take effect on the date that is 1 day after the date of enactment of this Act. ______
