SA 2373. Mr. OSSOFF (for himself and Mr. Grassley) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4638, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2025 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. PREVENTING CHILD TRAFFICKING. (a) Definition.--In this section, the term ``anti- trafficking recommendations'' means the recommendations set forth in the report of the Government Accountability Office entitled ``Child Trafficking: Addressing Challenges to Public Awareness and Survivor Support'', which was published on December 11, 2023. (b) Implementation of Anti-trafficking Programs for Children.-- (1) In general.--Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Office for Victims of Crime of the Department of Justice, in coordination with the Office on Trafficking in Persons of the Administration for Children and Families, shall implement the anti-trafficking recommendations. (2) Report.--Not later than 60 days after the date on which the Office for Victims of Crime implements the anti- trafficking recommendations pursuant to subsection (a), the Director of the Office for Victims of Crime shall submit to the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate and Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives a report that explicitly describes the steps taken by the Office to complete such implementation. ______
