SA 3261. Mr. WHITEHOUSE (for himself, Mr. Grassley, Mr. Blumenthal, and Mr. Cornyn) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4638, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2025 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle E of title V, add the following: SEC. 562. SENSE OF CONGRESS REGARDING FLIGHT TRAINING COURSE AVAILABILITY FOR UKRANIAN F-16 AIRCRAFT PILOTS. It is the sense of Congress that during fiscal year 2025, the Department of Defense should continue to work with international partners to ensure that Ukraine's military aviation needs are being met, including F-16 basic flight training in the United States and at allied nation facilities overseas. ______
