SA 560. Mr. WYDEN (for himself, Mr. Crapo, Mr. Braun, Mr. Fetterman, Mr. Risch, Mr. Young, and Mr. Merkley) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2226, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2024 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for [[Page S2690]] military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle G of title X, add the following: SEC. 10__. NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR HIGHWAY. (a) Purpose.--The purposes of this section are-- (1) to honor all current and future Medal of Honor recipients; and (2) to recognize the valor and service of those Medal of Honor recipients. (b) Designation.--United States Route 20 in each of the States of Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts shall be known and designated as the ``National Medal of Honor Highway''. (c) References.--Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the highway referred to in subsection (b) shall be deemed to be a reference to the ``National Medal of Honor Highway''. ______
