SA 3355. Mr. GRASSLEY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2296, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2026 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle F of title X, add the following: SEC. 1067. AUTHORITY OF MARSHAL OF THE SUPREME COURT AND SUPREME COURT POLICE. Section 6121(a)(2) of title 40, United States Code, is amended by striking subparagraph (C) and inserting the following: ``(C) if the Marshal determines such protection is necessary-- ``(i) any retired or former Chief Justice or Associate Justice of the Supreme Court; or ``(ii) any member of the immediate family of the Chief Justice, any Associate Justice, any retired or former Chief Justice or Associate Justice, or any officer of the Supreme Court.''. ______
