S.Amdt. 4094

SA 4094. Mr. DURBIN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by
him to the bill H.R. 4016, making appropriations for the Department of
Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other
purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

At the appropriate place in title VIII, insert the
following:
Sec. 8__.  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, none
of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available by this
Act or any prior Act may be made available for the use of a
United States military base or other area under military
control for the immigration enforcement purpose of detaining
noncitizens who--
(1) are physically present in the United States; or
(2) have been transferred from the United States.
