SA 4827. Mr. BLUMENTHAL (for himself, Mr. Gallego, Ms. Hirono, and Mr. King) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33, setting forth the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2026 and setting forth the [[Page S1954]] appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2027 through 2035; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: Strike titles II and III and insert the following: TITLE II--RECONCILIATION SEC. 2001. RECONCILIATION IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. In the House of Representatives, not later than May 15, 2026, the Committee on Armed Services shall report to the House of Representatives changes in laws within its jurisdiction that increase the deficit by not more than $13,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2026 through 2035. SEC. 2002. RECONCILIATION IN THE SENATE. In the Senate, not later than May 15, 2026, the Committee on Armed Services shall report to the Senate changes in laws within its jurisdiction that increase the deficit by not more than $13,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2026 through 2035. ______
