S.Amdt. 5561

SA 5561. Mr. PETERS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by
him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title
II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as
follows:

At the appropriate place in title I, insert the following:

SEC. ___. APPROPRIATION FOR THE PANDEMIC RESPONSE
ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITTEE.

(a) In General.--In addition to amounts otherwise
available, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2026, out of
any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
$5,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for
the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee to support
oversight of the funds provided in this title.
(b) Reduction in Funds.--Notwithstanding section 104, the
amount appropriated under that section shall be
$2,493,000,000.
