S.Amdt. 5593

SA 5593. Mr. KAINE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by
him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title
II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as
follows:

At the appropriate place, insert the following:

SEC. _____. PROHIBITION ON IMPLEMENTING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
THAT ESTABLISHES THE ANTI-WEAPONIZATION FUND.

The Department of Justice may not implement the settlement
agreement announced on May 18, 2026, that establishes the
Anti-Weaponization Fund.

SEC. ____. APPROPRIATION FOR THE RURAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES
OUTREACH PROGRAM.

In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is
appropriated to the Administrator of the Health Resources and
Services Administration for fiscal year 2026, out of any
money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated,
$1,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029,
for the purposes of carrying out the rural health care
services outreach program.
