SA 5668. Mr. BLUMENTHAL submitted an amendment intended to be
proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation
pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on
the table; as follows:

At the appropriate place, insert the following:

SEC. ___. THE MARIMAR MARTINEZ PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS TO
ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES THAT INVOLVE DEADLY FORCE
AGAINST NON-VIOLENT PROTESTORS.

None of the funds made available under this title may be
used to engage in activities that involve the use of deadly
force against non-violent protestors.
