SA 5676. Mr. BLUMENTHAL submitted an amendment intended to be
proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation
pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on
the table; as follows:

At the appropriate place, insert the following:

SEC. ___. PROHIBITION ON REMOVAL OF AFGHAN ALLIES TO THE
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO.

The Secretary of Homeland Security shall ensure that no
individual present in the United States under the special
immigrant visa program for Afghan allies is removed to the
Democratic Republic of Congo.
