SA 6814. Mr. SCOTT of South Carolina submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4668, to protect the name, image, and likeness rights of, and provide protections for, student athletes and to promote fair competition among intercollegiate athletics, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of title I, add the following: SEC. 129. PROHIBITION ON CERTAIN FOREIGN FINANCING OF INTERCOLLEGIATE SPORTS. (a) In General.--The President shall prohibit any government of a foreign adversary, any entity subject to sanctions imposed by the United States, any state-owned enterprise, and any person related to any such government or entity from financing intercollegiate sports in the United States. (b) Foreign Adversary Defined.--In this section, the term ``foreign adversary'' has the meaning given the term ``covered nation'' in section 4872 of title 10, United States Code. ______
