IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Hatch (for himself and Mr. Leahy) introduced the following bill;
which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

A BILL

To extend the effective period of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988
(18 U.S.C. 922 note) for 10 years.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF SUNSET PROVISION.

Section 2(f)(2) of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988 (Public
Law 100-649; 18 U.S.C. 922 note) is amended by striking ``Sunset.--
Effective 15 years'' and inserting ``Sunset.--Effective 25 years''.
