A BILL
To suspend the duty on imports of ethanol, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. DUTY FREE TREATMENT FOR IMPORTED ETHANOL USED FOR FUEL.
(a) In General.--Subchapter I of chapter 99 of the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by striking heading
9901.00.50 and any U.S. note relating to that heading.
(b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this subsection applies
to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or
after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
