A BILL

To authorize appropriations for the veterans’ workforce investment programs.

1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the More Training for Veterans Act of 2009.

2.

Authorization of appropriations for veterans’ workforce investment programs

Section 168 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (29 U.S.C. 2913) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:

(c)

Authorization of appropriations

There is authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year $20,000,000 for programs authorized under this section.
