A BILL

To amend the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to reauthorize a pilot program for public health laboratories to detect fentanyl and other synthetic opioids.

1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Federal Interventions and New Detections of Fentanyl Act of 2023 or the FIND Fentanyl Act of 2023.

Pilot program for public health laboratories to detect fentanyl and other synthetic opioids

Section 7011(d) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (42 U.S.C. 247d–10(d)) is amended by striking fiscal years 2019 through 2023 and inserting fiscal years 2024 through 2028.
