  • Require the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a feasibility study for a Missouri River water supply project serving the Western Dakota Regional Water System.
  • Study must comply with the reclamation feasibility standards set in the Reclamation Rural Water Supply Act of 2006.
  • If the initial study does not meet those standards, the Secretary may enter a cooperative agreement with the regional water system to complete additional work.
  • Federal share of study costs may not exceed 50 percent of total expenses.
  • Authorize up to $10 million in appropriations for the study.
  • Authority to conduct the study expires ten years after the act’s enactment.
