This bill would end the Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) program, which currently allows people from countries with low U.S. immigration numbers to apply for a green‑card lottery. It does this by removing the part of the Immigration and Nationality Act that creates the program and updating related sections so the law stays consistent. The change would affect potential applicants from many countries who rely on the DV lottery to immigrate to the United States.
