This aims to increase openness about how public housing funds are spent, affecting housing agencies, vendors, and the public who can view the information.

Key Provisions

  • HUD must require each public housing agency to publicly disclose contract details on its website within one year of the law’s enactment.
  • Disclosures must include the goods or services provided, the vendor’s name, the contract solicitation date, the bids or quotes received, and the official who solicited the contract.
