The bill also sets up civil penalties for employers who fail to comply, with fines up to $500 per violation.

Key Provisions

  • Employers must post a standardized notice describing NLRA rights in conspicuous physical and electronic locations where employee notices are typically displayed.
  • The National Labor Relations Board (Board) must create and make available the notice form and text on its website at no cost to employers.
  • Employers must notify each new employee of the information contained in the posted notice.
  • If an employer violates the posting requirement, the Board can issue an order to comply and impose a civil penalty of up to $500 per violation.
