H.Res. 1275 is a procedural resolution that lets the House consider five separate measures—three bills, one concurrent resolution, and a large appropriations bill—by waiving normal points of order and setting limited debate times. It does not change policy itself; it simply establishes the rules for debating and voting on those measures.

Key Provisions

  • Allows the House to consider H.R. 5625, which would require the Attorney General to publish a list of states and localities that allow cashless bail.
  • Allows the House to consider H.R. 6260, which would amend the criminal code to make bail‑related fraud a federal crime.
  • Allows the House to consider H.R. 8365, which would set conditions for courts to appoint monitors.
  • Allows the House to consider H.Con.Res. 96, a resolution expressing support for law‑enforcement officers.
  • Allows the House to consider H.R. 8469, an appropriations bill funding military construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for FY 2027, with specific limits on debate and amendment procedures.
