Updated November 23, 2025 at 10:10 PM UTC

The Produce Epstein Treasury Records Act forces the Treasury Department to turn over all suspicious activity reports tied to Jeffrey Epstein, his associates, and anyone who did business with them. It requires the Secretary of the Treasury to deliver the raw reports and summary data to Senate finance and banking committees within a month, and to report on any related investigations within two months. The bill targets banks, trusts, and other entities named in the legislation, aiming to increase transparency about financial dealings linked to Epstein.

Key Provisions

  • Within 30 days of the law’s enactment, the Treasury Secretary must give Senate finance and banking committees physical copies of every suspicious activity report (SAR) that involves Jeffrey Epstein, his co‑conspirators, or any person or entity that transacted with them.
  • The law lists many specific individuals and companies (e.g., Ghislaine Maxwell, J.P. Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, Les Wexner, etc.) and also allows the Treasury to add any other parties identified by federal agencies as having dealt with Epstein or Maxwell.
  • The Treasury must also submit a report that lists: (a) all financial institutions that filed those SARs, (b) all flagged individuals and entities, and (c) the total dollar amount of the transactions, broken down by institution.
  • Within 60 days, the Treasury must provide a second report describing any investigations its components, such as the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, have conducted into possible violations of anti‑money‑laundering laws related to those accounts.
