Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize Complete Auto Repair for receiving the 2019 Golden Rotary Ethics in Business Award for a for-profit organization.

Ethical behavior has been the foundation for which Complete Auto Repair has built their foundation. Honesty, integrity, quality and convenience is the criteria used in every decision. Their ethical standards have allowed them to build lasting relationships with customers, and to retain employees--many of who have been with the company since day one. Currently, Complete Auto Repair has served more than 3,600 individuals in our community.

Complete Auto Repair improves our community through their environmentally friendly practices such as recycling their waste oil, filters, anti-freeze, and tires. They are also well known for their generosity and contributions to local high schools, elementary school fundraisers, the Toys for Tots campaign, American Heart Association, various scholarship funds and church fundraisers, and their participation in events such as coaching youth sports.

Congratulations to everyone at Complete Auto Repair on receiving the Golden Rotary Ethics in Business Award. I thank them for their continued commitment to our community.

Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize and applaud The Jefferson Center for receiving the 2019 Golden Rotary Ethics in Business Award for a non-profit organization.

To receive this award an organization must maintain integrity, conviction and possess high ethical standards demonstrated by the treatment of customers, employees, community and the environment. The Jefferson Center checks all those boxes. The Jefferson Center is a mental health and substance use organization committed to making mental health care accessible to all. Each year, The Jefferson Center helps bring hope for a brighter future to thousands of community members who struggle with mental health and substance abuse disorders and individuals whose mental health problems contribute to difficulties at work or school or who have endured hospitalization, homelessness, or even involvement with the juvenile or criminal justice system.

The Jefferson Center's programs and services serve people of all ages and encourage recovery and resiliency of clients throughout their treatment. Their services include outpatient counseling, 24-hour emergency services, wellness classes, recovery-focused support groups, vocational services, homeless prevention assistance and school-based counseling. Because The Jefferson Center offices are throughout our neighborhoods, the Center's staff members are intertwined in the community and provide personal care to the people they treat.

I extend my deepest congratulations to The Jefferson Center for this well-deserved recognition by the Golden Rotary Club.

Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize and applaud students Angel Martinez, Laisha Campos and Veronica Moncada for earning the Rookie of the Year Award for their creative and unique mobile application (app) as part of the 2019 Congressional App Challenge.

As first-time participants in the challenge, this team from the Northglenn STEM Launch School built an app titled ``Immigration Help'' to assist members of the community with immigration resources allowing the community to be a welcoming environment for new constituents.

The students of STEM Launch School spent countless hours and used numerous tools to learn about coding, further advancing their STEM education. Each team built their app in less than three months which shows their perseverance and dedication to this challenge and exemplifies the character and determination the faculty instills in the students at the school.

I extend my deepest congratulations to these students for their hard work on this project. I am certain these students will exhibit the same dedication and character in their future accomplishments.

Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize and applaud John Hiatt for earning the Technical Achievement Award for his development of a creative and unique mobile application (app) in the 2019 Congressional App Challenge. As a returning participant in the competition, John built an app titled ``Assembly Plus'' to assist with programming language that adds readability to raw assembly.

A senior at Northglenn High School, John spent countless hours and used numerous tools to learn about coding, further advancing his STEM education. He built this app in less than three months which shows his perseverance and dedication to this challenge and exemplifies the character and determination the

faculty instills in the students at Northglenn High School.

I extend my deepest congratulations to John for his hard work on this project. I am certain he will exhibit the same dedication and character in all future accomplishments.

The Youth Award focuses on teenagers who have overcome personal adversity and created positive changes in their lives and their community. The program provides businesses, the community and civic leaders an opportunity to support young people in their communities and recognize their accomplishments. Cooper is the perfect recipient for this award because despite adversities and challenges, he has become an inspiration and role model for his peers.

The dedication and leadership demonstrated by Cooper is exemplary of the type of achievement that can be attained with hard work and perseverance.
