Madam Speaker, I proudly pause to recognize Zachary M. Hughes of Kansas City, Missouri. Zachary is a very special young man who has exemplified the finest qualities of citizenship and leadership by taking an active part in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1333, and earning the most prestigious award of Eagle Scout.

Zachary has been very active with his troop, participating in many Scout activities. Over the many years Zachary has been involved with Scouting, he has not only earned numerous merit badges, but also the respect of his family, peers, and community.

Madam Speaker, I proudly ask you to join me in commending Zachary M. Hughes for his accomplishments with the Boy Scouts of America and for his efforts put forth in achieving the highest distinction of Eagle Scout.

Madam Speaker, I proudly pause to recognize the outstanding achievement of Grant Gates of Kansas City, Missouri. Grant has earned a perfect 36 ACT composite score. Grant is one of only three students from the state of Missouri and one of only fifty-two in the country to earn the perfect score.

Madam Speaker, Grant has dedicated himself to his studies and extracurricular activities. As a junior at North Kansas City High School, Grant has participated in the Missouri Scholars Academy at the University of Missouri, the Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee, member of the high school swim team, member of the choir and Harmonaires show choir, and is a part of the school's state championship Scholar Bowl. Grant is currently working toward an International Baccalaureate diploma, Gold Medallion Honors diploma, and A+ Schools eligibility. Grant is also active in Boy Scout Troop 9 in North Kansas City.

Madam Speaker, I ask that you join me, Gary and Elinor Gates, the North Kansas City Schools, and North Kansas City High School in applauding Grant Gates' outstanding achievement. We wish Grant many more years of success.

Madam Speaker, I proudly pause to recognize Connor Wayne Choice of Liberty, Missouri. Connor is a very special young man who has exemplified the finest qualities of citizenship and leadership by taking an active part in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1376, and earning the most prestigious award of Eagle Scout.

Connor has been very active with his troop, participating in many Scout activities. Over the many years Connor has been involved with Scouting, he has not only earned numerous merit badges, but also the respect of his family, peers, and community.

qualities of citizenship and leadership by taking an active part in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1376, and earning the most prestigious award of Eagle Scout.

Ryan has been very active with his troop, participating in many Scout activities. Over the many years Ryan has been involved with Scouting, he has not only earned numerous merit badges, but also the respect of his family, peers, and community.

Cody has been very active with his troop, participating in many Scout activities. Over the many years Cody has been involved with Scouting, he has not only earned numerous merit badges, but also the respect of his family, peers, and community.

Madam Speaker, I proudly pause to recognize Dylan Reno, a very special young man who has exemplified the finest qualities of citizenship and leadership by taking an active part in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 87, and by earning the most prestigious award of Eagle Scout.

Dylan has been very active with his troop, participating in many Scout activities. Dylan has shown an extraordinary commitment to scouting as evidenced by earning 41 merit badges and holding several leadership positions in the troop. In July of 2005, Dylan earned the World Conservation Award.

Dylan's Eagle Scout service project consisted of constructing several bird feeders and landscaping around the ``sitting room'' of the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri. This project continued the tradition of community service established by the Boy Scouts of America.

Justin is a very special young man who has exemplified the finest qualities of citizenship and leadership by taking an active part in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 1271, and earning the most prestigious award of Eagle Scout.

Justin has been very active with his troop, participating in many scout activities. Over the many years Justin has been involved with scouting, he has not only earned numerous merit badges, but also the respect of his family, peers, and community.
