SA 1805. Mr. BENNETT proposed an amendment to the bill H.R. 2744, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, and for other purposes; as follows:
At the appropriate place in the bill, insert the following new paragraph:
“Sec. __. The federal facility located at the South Mississippi Branch Experiment Station in Poplarville, Mississippi, and known as the “Southern Horticultural Laboratory”, shall be known and designated as the “Thad Cochran Southern Horticultural Laboratory”: Provided, That any reference in law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to such federal facility shall be deemed to be a reference to the “Thad Cochran Southern Horticultural Laboratory”.
