Mr. DeMINT submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 5140, to provide economic stimulus through recovery rebates to individuals, incentives for business investment, and an increase in conforming and FHA loan limits; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the appropriate place, insert the following:
SEC. __. REPEAL OF EGTRRA AND JGTRRA SUNSETS.
(a) Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001.--Title IX of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 (relating to compliance with Congressional Budget Act) is repealed.
(b) Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003.--Title III of the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 is amended by striking section 303.
