SA 5073. Mr. BUNNING submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2731, to authorize appropriations for fiscal years 2009 through 2013 to provide assistance to foreign countries to combat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following: SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) In General.--Section 401(a) of the United States Leadership Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Act of 2003 is amended by striking ``2004 through 2008'' and inserting ``2009 through 2013''. (b) Malaria Vaccine Development Programs.--Section 302(m) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2222(m)) is amended by striking ``2004 through 2008'' and inserting ``2009 through 2013''. ______
