SA 1407. Mr. LEAHY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 1371 submitted by Mr. Sessions to the amendment SA 1373 proposed by Mr. Reid (for Mr. Byrd (for himself, Mr. Inouye, and Mrs. Murray)) to the bill H.R. 2892, making appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: On page 3, after line 7, add the following: Sec. 549. Section 610 of the Departments of Commerce, Justice, and State, the Judiciary, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1993 (8 U.S.C. 1153 note) is amended-- (1) by striking ``pilot'' each place it appears; and (2) in subsection (b), by striking ``for 15 years''. ______
