Inserted: (2) in the third sentence, by striking "125 such defense industry employees" and inserting "250 such defense industry employees"; and
Inserted: (3) in the last sentence, by inserting before the period at the end the following: "or an appropriate professional continuing education certificate, as applicable".

Mr. PORTMAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 3254, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2013 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

SEC. 1048. ENHANCEMENT OF AUTHORITIES ON ADMISSION OF DEFENSE INDUSTRY CIVILIANS TO CERTAIN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND PROGRAMS.
