   (D) Department of Defense document O-1 for operation and maintenance accounts for fiscal year 2013, for which purpose the term "program, project, or activity" means the budget activity account and sub account for the program, project, or activity as submitted in such document O-1.

   Inserted: SEC. 1005. REPORT ON BALANCES CARRIED FORWARD BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AT THE END OF FISCAL YEAR 2012.

   Inserted: Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to Congress, and publish on the Internet website of the Department of Defense available to the public, the following:

   Inserted: (1) The total dollar amount of all balances carried forward by the Department of Defense at the end of fiscal year 2012 by account.

   Inserted: (2) The total dollar amount of all unobligated balances carried forward by the Department of Defense at the end of fiscal year 2012 by account.

   Inserted: (3) The total dollar amount of any balances (both obligated and unobligated) that have been carried forward by the Department of Defense for five years or more as of the end of fiscal year 2012 by account.
