To terminate wind and solar credits.

SA 2745. Mr. LEE submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to
amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con.
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

At the appropriate place in chapter 5 of subtitle A of
title VII, insert the following:

SEC. _____. TERMINATION FOR WIND AND SOLAR FACILITIES.

(a) Clean Electricity Production Credit.--Section
45Y(d)(4)(A), as added by this Act, is amended to read as
follows:
``(A) In general.--This section shall not apply with
respect to any applicable facility which--
``(i) begins construction after the date which is 60 days
after the date of the enactment of this paragraph, or
``(ii) is placed in service after December 31, 2027.''.
(b) Clean Electricity Investment Credit.--Section
48E(e)(4)(A), as added by this Act, is amended to read as
follows:
``(A) In general.--This section shall not apply to any
qualified property--
``(i) which is part of an applicable facility, and
``(ii) which--

``(I) begins construction after the date which is 60 days
after the date of the enactment of this paragraph, or
``(II) is placed in service after December 31, 2027.''.

(c) Effective Date.--The amendments made by this section
shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act.
