SA 5725. Mr. WELCH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. REQUIRING THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION TO MAINTAIN A DETAILED LIST OF ALL FLIGHTS TAKEN BY THE DIRECTOR OF THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION. (a) In General.--The Federal Bureau of Investigation shall maintain a detailed list of all flights that the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation takes. Such list shall include the date of, the passengers on, and the purpose of each flight. (b) Submission to Congress.--Not less than monthly, the Federal Bureau of Investigation shall submit a copy of such list to-- (1) the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate; (2) the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate; (3) the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives; and (4) the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives. (c) Funding.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there are appropriated to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $50,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, to carry out this section. ______
